Title: Big Data Developer – Remote
Resource will be working on MEGDP 2.0 strategic platform. Resource is expected to be expert in Azure cloud development using Java/Scala. Resource should have excellent SDLC skills and proficient in AKS, AAD, ADLS and Databricks/Spark computing. Agile methods and Shift left testing is desired.

Are you looking to accelerate your cloud computing career? We are looking for an Azure Cloud developer / Micro Services Developer (hands-on, problem solver, technical expert) with strong technical leadership.
The successful candidate will join the MEGDP IT team as a Cloud Full stack developer . The main function of your job will be to implement and deliver high quality software solutions and components for the strategic data platform conforming to architectural standards, review code and designs and ensure adherence to standards. You will also deliver development tasks end-to-end and work closely with other development, testing, and implementation teams to roll out important platform features and enhancements. You will leverage the latest tools and technologies to increase your team’s productivity and collaborate across teams. You should be able to work in an agile team in a fast-paced delivery environment.
As a Cloud Developer, you’ll play an important role in designing, developing and delivering solutions that accelerate the “Speed of Confidence of Delivery to Production”. You will be expected to be able to work independently producing sound Kubernetes based micro services or extending Scala-based big data frameworks Your team :

Programming Language: Java, Scala
Tools: Gitlab, Sonar, docker hub, container registry, nexus, Postman, Minikube, Azure CLI Build Scripting: Gradle, Maven, Shell Packaging Tool/Technology: HELM, Shell Cloud Technologies: (Azure is preferable)
Hosting: Docker, Kubectl, AKS
Data: Storage accounts, PostgreSQL, knowledge on Data Bricks API, Exposure to Caching APIs
Security: Azure AD (SAML Token based, Single sign-on), Hashicorp Vault, Managed Identities (Service Principals) , TLS, CA Certificates, Managed Disk encryption Load balancers: Ingress, Ingress rule, Spring Cloud technology (Ribbon, Feign, Discovery) , Circuit Breaker Service Mesh: ISTIO, Linkered, API gateways knowledge is helpful but not mandatory
Monitoring: Log Analytics, Azure Metrics, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform
