    Seasoned writer will work on broad range of writing projects within HR Communications. Among other duties, must be comfortable conducting phone interviews, interacting with leaders and professionals at various levels, and working on tight deadlines and fast turnaround times. Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently producing content of the highest quality.

     

    Primary responsibility will be to create compelling profiles of national Chairman’s Award for High Performance winners. Candidates must possess:

    Excellent communication skills and writing capabilities, with demonstrated ability to take complex ideas and information and translate them into compelling, easily digestible narratives.
    Ability to conduct engaging and professional interviews with  employees and executives and use their perspectives and experiences to create informative, entertaining feature articles that tell the story of how they have developed their careers and acted as role models of high performance.
    Ability to weave key elements of strategy and culture, including Leadership Competencies and Core Values, into the profiles to paint a picture of how winners’ performance, behaviors, actions help to drive the firm’s success.
    Ability to handle multiple interviews and writing assignments simultaneously, while maintaining a keen attention to detail.

    Skills:
    Excellent communication skills and writing capabilities, with proven ability to take complex ideas and messages and communicate them effectively to large audiences
    Demonstrated ability to handle multiple writing assignments in a fast-paced environment, and to vary writing style and tone to suit different audiences and objectives
    Experience working as the lead writer/communications professional on large project teams
    Self-starter with strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail; highly motivated to succeed under minimal supervision
    Education:
    Minimum 10 years of progressive communications and editorial experience within a large internal corporate communications environment; professional services background a plus.
    Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or related field from an accredited college or university​
