    Wealth Management (WM) Technology is the global technology department responsible for the design, development, delivery and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Wealth Management (WM) business. The department is comprised of 10 organizations: Sales, Banking & Corporate-Client Technology, Investment Products & Markets Technology, Client Reporting, Core Processing, Private and International Wealth Management Technology, Technology Integration Office, Enterprise Infrastructure & Production Management, Capital Markets Application & Data Services, Deployment Planning & Release Management, and the Chief Operating Office.

    Department Profile
    Client Channels Technology is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm’s WM Technology Division. The charter of this department is to develop Client-facing Websites and Mobile Applications. Working as a member of this team, the candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting external client facing web and mobile applications in an open and collaborative environment.     Position Description
    This position is for a Senior User Interface Developer for Wealth Management’s Client Channel Technology at  New York offices. The candidate is expected to code, conduct code reviews, and test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of the SDLC. The candidate should be flexible, highly adaptable and excellent team player. The candidate is expected to work as part of an agile team that consist of web application and web services developers. The candidate should expect to work in a global virtual team, sometimes across multiple time zones. The candidate should be experienced in web development and JavaScript Technologies. He or she should have at least 5+ years of web application development experience. Exposure or experience to web development is required and mobile web development will be considered an added bonus. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player committed to delivering on time and should be able to work with under supervision.

    Responsibilities & Skills Required:
    • 5+ years of professional experience in building responsive websites
    • Solid understanding and experience with Object-Oriented design and development
    • Must have a thorough understanding of web technologies and web architectures
    • Strong knowledge of CSS, HTML5, Modular JavaScript/OOP and modern JavaScript frameworks.
    • Experience in Angular is a must.
    • Consuming RESTful API’s and JSON data format
    • Developing Wireframes, site maps and process flows for site architecture
    • Strong Communication Skills
    • Strong Analysis, Design and Development Skills
    • Good problem solving skills

    Desired skills:
    • Experience with CSS utilities such as LESS, SASS, Twitter Bootstrap and Compass, and JavaScript libraries like Angular, Underscore and Coffee Script, is a plus
    • Financial Services experience will be a strong plus
    • Comfortable with ambiguity, creative thinking and leading change ​
