    Job Description:
    ·     Provides reporting on the status of severity issues, actions, and resolutions during shift. Assists managers in reviewing incidents, changes and requests, making recommendations on trends such as excessive aging or incomplete troubleshooting of tickets. Maintains compliance to avoid risks of system outages or compromised data. Assists as a member on projects that are on-boarded to DCOPS.
    Assists Level 1 Analysts with monitoring and maintaining all production systems using CA Unicenter/CA Spectrum, Alertsite or similar Enterprise Monitoring Tool.
    Assists in enhancing productivity and minimize risks to clients.
    Responsible for infrastructure monitoring (Mainframe, Unix, Linux, Windows & Database).
    Responsible for backup monitoring, restarting backup failures and basic trouble shooting/resolution.
    Performs event monitoring, analysis, setup, coordination and resolution in a Data Center Operation environment.
    Performs commissioning and decommissioning of servers.
    Works with and trains Level 1 Analyst on proper troubleshooting techniques – Break/Fix
    Creates custom monitoring rules for a variety of platforms, using existing tools.
    Develops monitoring services to enhance productivity and minimize risks to clients.

    Performs event monitoring, analysis, setup, coordination, and resolution in a Data Center Operations environment.

    Initiates appropriate actions to onboard new applications, clients CA Unicenter, CA Spectrum and Alertsite.
    Performs in-depth analysis, problem determination and resolutions as it relates to day-to-day operations support.
    Maintains backup failures, management, restores, security patching and process flow.
    Responsible log Analysis for Netbackup, UNIX and Windows servers.
    Reports and analyzes up/down monitoring agents.
    Performs system analysis to ensure proper metrics are met; integrates information to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.
    Maintains compliance to avoid risk of system outages, or compromise data.
    Troubleshoots disk space issues.
    Communicates ideas and information effectively via oral and written communications; to diverse audiences.
    Performs commissioning and decommissioning of servers.

    Assists in on-boarding new systems and application into Data Center operations.
    Processes Flow and Logs Analysis for Netbackup/Windows servers; supporting multiple operational and infrastructure related projects.
    Analyzes/integrates information to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions for resolutions.
    Monitors assigned incidents and change; tracks compliance with Service Management SLA’s and Provisioning SLA’s.
    Up-dates tickets on a daily basis.
