Title: Statutory Accountant
The position will be a member of the Accounting and Controllership – Statutory Accounting and Reporting Division and will be actively involved in annual statutory reporting obligations for the multiple legal entities. Responsibilities will include updates of financial statements, footnotes, exhibits, schedules, surveys, state filings and other ad-hoc reporting requests. The candidate will participate in the entire end-to-end process of preparing, reviewing and filing the annual and quarterly statutory reports. Seeking individuals with financial reporting experience (minimum 5 years). Although not required, below are some prior work experience that would make the a strong candidate.
• Sovos – WINGS application
• Bluebook – Life Insurance Statement
o Experience with Pages 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
o Experience with Schedules E, F, H, S
o Experience with State Business Page
o NY State Supplement Statement
• Workvia Wdesk application
• SAP General Ledger system
• AFO Reporting
