    The  Social Work Supervisor will be responsible for direct care, oversight of administrative and clinical supervision, and staff performance evaluation. This role requires familiarity and compliance with all relevant regulations. All responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with the standards of regulatory bodies and of the Agency.

    KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (List the functions that are essential to achieve the goals):

    Assist in the Interview and hire department staff; Process staff termination in accordance with Agency Policy & Procedure
    Conduct staff Development as assigned; Conduct performance appraisals as assigned
    Provide Event Reporting to department staff as assigned
    Schedule and monitor staff attendance, staff and vacation scheduling to ensure proper coverage
    Conduct Quality Assurance / Quarterly documented chart review and audits
    Coordinate and oversee admissions process in accordance with all relevant intake criteria
    Monitor department for continued Improvement
    Participate in all treatment meetings, as assigned
    Provide direct service to clients on an as needed/required basis; Provide individual and group supervision of department staff; Provide seminars for staff
    Provide clinical support to family & youth advocates; conduct youth assessments & referrals
    Facilitate weekly team meetings and case conferences; Monitor Consumer/Occupant Meetings
    Monitor all individualized service plans, and review with residents and staff
    Supervise MSW students, as assigned
    Serve as back up to Director Department
    Other duties as assigned

    EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING REQUIRED (List all that is required to achieve this position):
    New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required
    Prior experience with a similar population/clientele; prior experience in a supervisory role
    Experience managing a client wait-list
    Strong clinical group, family and individual intervention skills required
    Sound organization, team work, and communication skills required
    Excellent written skills and computer literacy
