    Reporting to the Director of Program Management, the Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing a multi-year program to migrate the Firm’s financial systems. There will be many projects within the program and the Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the success of the program. This candidate must be results and goal oriented with strong client relationship, change management, and business analysis skills. The Senior Manager is expected to have frequent interaction with the firm’s c-level, directors, partners, associates and staff.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Define the scope of the program/project in collaboration with business and IT sponsors
    Define program/project success criteria
    Collaboratively create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the program/project, assign resources and time estimates
    Manage integrations between program/project
    Create and execute communication plan for internal and external stakeholders
    Identify, assess and minimize program/project risks throughout the project
    Contract qualified consultants to work on the program/project as appropriate
    Execute the program according to the plans, report on deviations
    Collaborate with external consultants and manage vendor relationships
    Collaborate with other project and program managers to manage project interdependencies
    Keep up to date all program/project documentation
    Monitor the progress of the program/projects and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
    Review the quality of the work completed with the program/project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
    Develop and deliver progress reports, requirements documentation, and presentations
    Ensure that the program/project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
    Evaluate the outcomes of the program/project as established during the planning phase
    Conduct lessons learned
    Analyze and document current internal processes to identify improvement opportunities and potential solutions
    Follow, advocate and continually improve the Firm’s project management methodology and approach
    Provide consulting and guidance to project methodology and best practices
    Participate in project evaluation/high level planning during budgeting process
    Positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the organization
    Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization
    Set priorities, monitor progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities
    Determine strategies to move the organization forward, set goals, create and implement actions plans, and evaluate the process and results
    Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s Degree and PMP certification a must
    The suitable candidate must demonstrate 8 to 10 years of leading and managing large scaled, strategic projects and programs
    Experience with large scale financial system implementations is a plus
    Must have solid experience interacting and communicating effectively across all levels of an organization
    Strong interpersonal, customer service, change management, business analysis, process re-engineering, presentation and organizational skills a must
    Proficient in Microsoft Project, Visio, and PowerPoint
    Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques
    Develop new and unique ways to improve operations of the organization and to create new opportunities
    Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness
