    Senior/Director Program Managers are recognized experts in their area and typically work on multiple products and large-scale programs of medium to high complexity. Their role is complex in coordinating activities, eventually of strategic nature that go beyond their own area. They are significant players in the contribution of the achievement of financial result and secure cost and efficiency savings as well as help protect the bank’s reputation and improve the overall risk profile. They take an active role in excelling the organizational culture to drive performance and overall satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities Include—but are not limited to:
    • Understanding client needs in order to establish clear goals aligned with policies and practices of UBS
    • Execution of strategic & tactical change across the technology platform and corresponding business continuity procedures
    • Managing all aspects of a project which includes: project planning, execution, timing, quality, cost, early identification of potential issues, and risk reduction
    • Preparing and publishing both project and risk remediation status reports and forecasts are required as part of project control
    • Embed Risk Awareness throughout the team, by designing and operating an effective control environment, proactively identifying and raising control deficiencies and driving diligent and sustainable risk remediation
    • Overseeing program / project managers in the creation of project plans, compliance and financial reporting
    • Key deliverables include: Business Case, Issues List, Quality Assurance Plan, Rank List / Risk Tool, Project Measurements, Risk Scorecard, Regulatory updates, Group Executive Board and Risk Committee updates

    You’ll be working in the Technology Risk Management and Control team in Weehawken, New Jersey. Our remit is to:
    • Ensure that Technology operates as documented in the Operational Risk Framework (ORF) across regionally and functionally-aligned teams
    • Establish and maintain an effective Risk Culture
    • Drive consistencies across Risk and Line of Business Technology teams
    • Become a challenge-driven organization in-line with established risk management principles
    • Develop and focus on close interaction with outside regulators, GIA, E&Y and Business Partners
    • Collaborate and partner internally with C&ORC, GCOO Risk & Regulatory Shared Services and the wider GT organization to achieve effective and efficient IT risk and controls management

    • Able to distill complex information into simplified terms without losing meaning and translate technical language for business stakeholders
    • Skilled in executing in a fast paced environment
    • A strong leader, communicator, and talented in project, program and people management

    • Program Management Professional (PgMP) / Project Management Professional (PMP)
    • Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP)
    • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
    • Professional experience in Waterfall, Agile and Scaled Agile methodologies
    • Professional understanding of Program/Project Management frameworks, SDLC principles and standards
    • Professional experience utilizing Change Management, Risk Management and Business Continuity Management Frameworks
    • Professional experience in delivering firm-wide programs focused on remediating key significant risks​
