Title: Regulatory Reporting
The primary responsibility of the position is to prepare assigned regulatory reports in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with US GAAP and instructions from regulatory authorities, which requires working knowledge of financial accounting and regulatory reporting, as well as understanding of the financial industry.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly and ad-hoc regulatory reports including, but not limited to, Federal Reserve reports (e.g. FR 2900 and FR 2644), Department of Treasury reports (TIC and TFC Reports), and Department of Commerce reports (e.g. BE-605, BE-185, and BE-125) and etc.
Reconcile reporting data and perform variance analysis
Improve the documentation of workpapers procedure manual within the reports submitted
Coordinate and support team members with various administrative work.
Minimum Job Requirements or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
Working knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and/or regulatory reporting
Strong skillsets in M.S. Excel and handle large volume of data in spreadsheet (e.g. loans, deposits, securities, derivatives, money market products, repos etc.)
About 1-2 years of experience in financial accounting or regulatory reporting area, experiences in banking and broker dealer is preferable
