Title: Network Administrator
The consultant will be part of Labs Core team, responsible for the maintenance and improvement of all Labs, with specific focus on Network administration for Labs (primarily in NY Plaza, with some extensions across the globe). This entails setup and troubleshooting of all operating systems flavors, network architecture and design and hands on configuration of switches/routers and other network devices.
-Experience planning, designing, building and implementing network systems LAN/WAN using Cisco (Nexus/nx-os, ASR) , Arista, Juniper switches and routers.
-Prior Virtual networking experience (open vSwitch, Nexus 1000v, Vmware DVS etc).
-Proficient in routing protocols: OSPF, EGRP, BGP, MPLS, spanning-tree protocol.
-Practical hands-on experience troubleshooting, diagnosing OS running RHEL and esxi with mellanox and solarflare cards. Understanding of structured 1/10/40/100 G cabling.
-Excellent understanding of DNS, DHCP, Load balancers F5, A10, IPSEC, VPN.
-Strong experience shell scripting in Perl, Python or Bash and Korn shells. Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and experience.
-Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision despite rapidly changing priorities.
-Experience with change management processes and providing general, project and engagement specific end-user support
