    Roles and Responsibilities:
    Engage with the development team throughout the life cycle to support Application build for Reliability
    Run, maintain and improve the service against established Service Level Objectives by applying software engineering principles
    Responsible for the availability, performance, change management, monitoring, and capacity management of services
    Troubleshoot priority incidents, conduct blameless post-mortems and ensure permanent closure of the incidents
    Analyze patterns of production incidents, develop permanent remediation plans, and implement automation to prevent future incidents from occurring through software engineering
    Interface with Product Engineering from a development and testing perspective on current and proposed production solutions

    Incident Management:
    Create and manage necessary process involving incidents
    Partner with Operations and IT Managers to ensure processes are consistent
    Partner with Ops Control to ensure IT and/or End User communications are handled appropriately

    Continuous Improvement:
    Use of analytical skills to find trends in the environment and drive out problems.
    Lead effort to determine improvement areas, acquire Senior Management sponsorship and execute on improvement areas.

    Problem Management:
    Outage handling and preventing adverse impact of Incidents and problems on business due to error within IT infrastructure, ensuring maximum system availability and prompt and accurate remediation of issues. Communicate outages and project updates effectively to stakeholders. Proactively drive IT governance and de-risking initiatives.
    Knowledge Management:
    Lead effort on Knowledge Management consistency and completeness of knowledgebase.

    Technical Qualifications :
    Experience with Loan IQ application, api and installation structure along with adhoc queries.
    Assisting with the Loan IQ upgrade program involving entitlements, code table updates, events and api checks.
    Understanding of Unix/Linux systems from kernel to shell and beyond, taking in system libraries, file systems, and client-server protocols along the way.
    Demonstrated systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
    Ability to debug and optimize code and to automate routine tasks.
    Experience in Java, Python and shell scripting.
    Interest in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
    Strong query building and database skills with DB2 ​
