Title: KYC Analyst
Perform all necessary tasks to ensure that all new and existing clients are within all regulatory guidelines established by AML Compliance.
“Know Your Customer”
Complete KYC on boarding for new and pre-exiting customer (KYC Refresh) by
reviewing client documentation, vendor databases, and data entered into proprietary
Be aware of requirements (both internal policies and procedures as well as changes made by external regulators – to be advised by Americas Legal & Compliance Department)
Complete any necessary research (via the Internet (Lexis-Nexis, Dow Jones Factiva, Orbis, etc.) to further support the approval process.
Contact customer / agent bank for required information.
Coordinate with credit officers, Bankers, Americas Legal & Compliance Department and Back Office to ensure timely approvals
Assist with Quality review to ensure that information obtained is consistent with Policies and Procedures and satisfies local and Enterprise regulatory requirements
Complete required input of information in the database system, Central Customer Database (CCDB), as well as hard copies for review by Americas Legal & Compliance Department and Back Office
Collect relevant tax forms from all clients in order to comply with new FATCA guidelines
As necessary, assist with special projects as assigned
Work with Management to implement process improvements that are developed
Keep track of legal documentation.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Maintain a working knowledge of anti-money laundering related requirements including BSA, USA Patriot Act, OFAC, SEC, FINRA, and other applicable U.S. and International regulations
Strong skills in Microsoft Office
Detailed oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maximizing quality of service
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, technical and problem solving skills
