Title: HRIS Analyst
OVERVIEW: The primary function of the HRIS/Benefits Analyst is to develop, maintain and continuously improve processes and assist in administrative and reporting functions within the Shared Services and Benefits departments. This position is expected to work within a team environment to maintain data, process transactions, answer end-user questions, test software, perform data auditing, write communications and produce ad hoc and scheduled reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:
Maintain HRIS/Benefits tables, plans, codes and values
Review, reconcile and process vendor invoices
Write, maintain and analyze a variety of reports and queries including: payroll deduction reports, employee enrollments, billing, audit, employee HR data and headcount reports.
Process individual employee HR transactions and benefits enrollments as needed
Work closely with vendors to resolve issues impacting HRIS and Benefits processes
Compile data for HR/Benefits surveys
Advise management on resolving HRIS/Benefits issues and questions
Conduct end-user HRIS/Benefits training
Research industry and employment trends and ensure that programs follow federal and state regulations as well as best practices
Assist with open enrollment and new benefit plan rollouts, including administration, employee communications and system setup
Conduct HRIS and Benefit Administration software testing, review and communicate results
Assists with other HRIS/Benefits project initiatives as needed
Performs system checks to maintain data integrity
Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
A BS/BA in a relevant field from an accredited college or university or other equivalent experience
3 years experience in HRIS and Benefits systems administration
Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative information.
Analytical thinker with strong attention to detail
Must have demonstrated interpersonal skills, working with people at all organizational levels
Advanced Excel skills including familiarity with formulas and pivot tables
Ability to manage multiple projects at once and work independently
Resourceful, and able to conduct independent research to solve problems
Ability to handle and communicate sensitive information with tact and discretion
Experience in creating queries in HRIS systems (Ceridian Dayforce preferred)
