    Analyzes basic financial data and quantitative analyses, in order to support sound and defensible recommendations.

    Reviews and conducts simple analysis of financial planning information and reports, and makes recommendations for changes to management.

    Conducts basic audit activities, in order to comply with requirements.

    Maintains best practices policies, in order to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

    Communicates with management on a consistent basis, to ensure sound fiscal management.

    Assists in the month end close process by preparing recurring/standard and ad hoc reports, researching general ledger activities and variances to budget and prior year.

    Prepares financial presentations using a variety of formats, displays, reproduction of charts, graphs, and econometric models.

    Assists in the development of budgets and quarterly forecasts; tracks and reports initiatives.

    Prepares financial planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

    Updates financial databases through entering, verifying, and securing data.

    Improves financial planning job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

    FP&A Analyst (Temporary)

    The FP&A team is seeking a temporary Financial Analyst to join in supporting both the corporate finance function and various internal business stakeholders in all aspects of Financial Planning and Analysis. The FP&A Analyst will contribute to monthly close procedures, variance analysis, financial reporting, and forecasting/planning. The FP&A Analyst candidate should be a detail-oriented individual who demonstrates strong service focus, has excellent communication skills, and understands baseline finance/accounting concepts.

    Key responsibilities include:

    o   Assist in development and updating of monthly financial results deck

    o   Perform analysis around monthly expenses (T&E, Marketing, Etc.)

    o   Execute month end accounting close, including the processing of journal entries

    o   Assist in tracking monthly revenue status and variances vs. Forecast/Budget

    o   Support ad-hoc business or finance initiatives

    Qualifications

    o   Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required

    o   Previous professional experience in finance, accounting, or highly analytical role a plus

    o   Ability to work to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment

    o   Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Excel/PowerPoint)

    o   Experience with a General Ledger and query system is a plus (Hyperion/Essbase preferred)

    o   Experience gathering, manipulating and formatting large data sets in Excel​
