Title: Digital Marketing – Urbandale, IL
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Manager will execute Campaign Management, Campaign Execution and Marketing Analytics leveraging the Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This team member will collaborate with the Marketing teams and the business divisions to support and execute marketing automation (Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget) for direct to consumers and client’s marketing campaigns to enhance the overall marketing impact initiatives. Ideally, the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Marketing Manager will be responsible for building customer journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and optimizing Marketing Cloud’s automation tools for various digital marketing channels (B2C, B2B2C and Social). This position will also have a focus on marketing cloud campaign analytics tied to sales and on-site website performance associated to email management and website (Google Analytics activities.
Collaborate with Marketing team to execute CRM strategies, including customer journeys and ongoing nurturing using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Develop and implement marketing automation in Marketing Cloud
Understand and establish connections between Marketing Cloud and Adobe Experience Manager.
Analyze and report results that will drive further optimization for email performance
Continually enhance customer experiences using Marketing Cloud automation
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise
3+ years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) including Journey Builder journey creation, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Connect integration management, Data Extensions, AmpScript, Social Studio, Interactive Studio and Advertising Studio, Cloud Pages and AI.
3+ years of experience with Salesforce, including deep experience with managing Promotional Campaigns using Marketing Cloud Enterprise Addition objects, direct mail integration/data management, and social media/customer service integration.
Specific experience in:
Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant or Certified Email Specialist
At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget development and implementations skills
Experience in implementing Marketing Cloud Automations, Marketing Cloud Text (SMS), Push Notifications, Journey Builder.
Experience in implementing Marketing Cloud Connector for objects to sync data into a Data Extension in the Marketing Cloud
Experience in Developing Reusable components in Marketing Cloud and setting up Triggered – real-time emails and text notifications
Strong knowledge of developing AMPSCRIPT code and Script to implement personalization
Experience with CSS and HTML for email creation within Marketing Cloud and Adobe Experience Manager.
Knowledge of basic SQL, including join statements
Expert knowledge of responsive email development principles and ability to create HTML content to work across different browsers and email programs
Experience in Managing account configurations Configuring Roles and Business Units
Exposure to Contact Builder, Audience Builder, Journey Builder and Predictive intelligence (preferred)
Strong writing skills with the ability to create documentation for both business and technical stakeholders
Troubleshoot issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation, tracking and other aspects of email execution, as required.
Develop and coordinate social media marketing activities related to promotion of campaigns and thought leadership (Social Media Platforms, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram)
Ability to propose cost effective marketing technology solutions to address business challenges such as improvement of development, processes and governance standards
Experience in creating custom Salesforce landing pages for customers/clients/promotions.
Strong written and oral presentation skills and success interacting with senior-level executives in a corporate environment
Certifications in Salesforce products (Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Social Specialist preferred)
Experience with marketing of financial services/regulated products a plus
MIMIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
3-5 years in Salesforce and Marketing Cloud automation
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Four year Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
