Title: Digital Content Specialist
As a member of the Corporate Communications & Marketing department, the Digital Content Specialist is primarily responsible for the development, scheduling, and publishing of programming across interior digital signage. In this role, you will engage directly with internal stakeholders, Internal Communications, Social/Digital, Event Management, and Creative Services to ensure a robust pipeline of informative and engaging content for display across a network of more than 500 small and large-format internal IPTV screens.
Identify, develop, and communicate a process to handle digital signage requests Gather content and oversee the quality of assets Use best practices to author (write) original content for digital and digital signage platforms that meets project goals and best characterizes our vision/mission/values Work with internal stakeholders to copyfit editorial to existing templates Establish and communicate project timelines to key stakeholders Manage, load and deploy content to Content Management Systems (CMS) and digital signage platforms Work with Creative Services to test interactive signs Work with Digital Marketing and Social Media, Internal Communications, and Events teams to leverage existing content (stories, video, animations, photos, invitations) and adapt versions for digital signage Develop and own the digital signage content calendar and manage the lifespan of content, including determining the frequency and duration of each asset Manage digital signage assets, including the input of keywords to the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system to aid in search and retrieval Partner with external providers to troubleshoot signage-related CMS and DAM issues Ensure real-time content (RSS feeds) are relevant/operational Report on performance metrics to further enhance digital signage initiative
Prior knowledge and experience working in Windows, Adobe Photoshop, DAM, CMS, and digital signage platforms (such as Zignage, Appspace, Signera, TelemetryTV, etc.) BA Degree, 3-5 years’ experience in digital signage or platforms, and/or experiential marketing Exceptional creative writing skills Familiarity with UX and UI design is a plus Desire to learn new software technologies and advance digital signage initiative Ability to maintain schedule, manage deadlines, and supervise projects to completion Can hit the ground running with strong operational execution skills Team player with collegial style; high energy, drive and enthusiasm
