    Level 2 Desktop Support Technician
    Job Responsibilities
    Hiring for a full time L2 Support Technician job in Fort Lee, NJ. You will be responsible for providing a 2nd line helpdesk and desk side support. This is a “hands on” role where support will often be provided in person and remotely. This job will require 30% travel.

    Qualifications of a successful candidate:

    *   Minimum of 5-year Customer Service and/or Technical Support experience required
    *   Must have personality and the ability to connect with people. To us interpersonal skills are just as important as technical skills. Our business is based on long term relationships and the candidate must continue to build those relationships
    *   The desire and ability to mesh with a close-knit team of professionals in a small business atmosphere
    *   Ability to multi-task and switch gears often and comfortably address Tier 1-2 level issues
    *   Ability to step back and see the big picture, not just the task at hand
    *   Attention to detail demonstrated by taking accurate notes
    *   Strong Computer Skills – Microsoft Office Suite

    Proficiency Preferred
    *   Strong Communication skills – Oral and Written
    *   Excellent Problem Solving & Troubleshooting skills
    *   Document new and update existing IT procedures
    *   Time Management and Organizational Skills
    *   Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (printers etc.)
    *   Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    *   Proficient with Windows 7+ 10 / OS X / iOS
    *   Experience with Remedy ticketing system
    *   Computer maintenance, virus removal, hardware evaluation
    *   Ability to work as a team
    *   Ability to adapt to change and the changing needs of the company and department
    *   Results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, and reliable team player
    *   Ability to perform duties while adhering to company policies and procedures
    *   Job responsibilities include handling support calls, managing internal staff with their hardware and software vendors

    Additional preferred skills and qualities:​
    *   Administration of Symantec Endpoint Encryption and Bitlocker
    *   Administration of Wyse Device Manager (WDM)

    Requirements:
    *   Minimum High School Diploma
    *   Associates Degree in Electronics Technology. Preferred

    Experience:
    *   Desktop Support: 4 years (Required)
    *   Information Technology: 4 years (Required)
