Title: Data Governance PM
The position is within the US WM Data Governance team, CDO office. The role is a PM/Data Analyst supporting Data Governance activities as part of the Pentagon project.
Responsibilities
• Manage multiple activities associated with the project Pentagon for tactical and strategic solutions
• Ensure collaboration from a group of Data Stewards/Owners, business SMEs and IT stakeholders
• Support DMO in the data lineage and data quality activities
• Participate in the identifying and documenting Data Refinery requirements
• Profile and analyze enterprise data to develop insights and enable requirements gathering
• Translate business requirements into written documentation (including business requirements, functional requirements, data flows, and process diagrams)
• Maintain the project artifacts, including the meeting minutes and status deck

• Solid project management skills
• Understanding of Data Management and Data Governance
• Solid knowledge of data management principles and processes
• Hands on knowledge of data analysis, data profiling with SQL, IDQ or any other related tools
• Ability to break down complex problems into components, identify root causes, and establish resolution plans
• 5+ years of project management experience specializing in the data related projects
• Excellent presentation and communication (orally and written) skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Ability to adapt to change and to detect and respond to evolving business needs
• Excellent communicator, with great interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work independently and creatively as well as within a team
