As part of our commitment to implementing the Group Data Management Framework across the CUSO we are looking for an individual with the drive and talent to help us deliver on our vision of building a sustainable, credible trusted data environment in Group Finance.

    We’re looking for someone who can:
    – Coordinate all aspects of the Data Management Framework roll-out within CUSO, (Combined US Operations) with respect to understanding project milestones and deadlines, documenting project plans, monitoring progress and escalating delays
    – Manage, influence and develop relationships with stakeholders of all levels to devise and evidence action plans to address gaps, ensuring successful implementation of the framework
    – Work with subject matter experts across CUSO Finance to facilitate the building and maintenance of a Finance data dictionary ensuring a consistent approach to the identification of Key Data Elements in support of group Data Lineage efforts
    – Lead the coordination of CUSO Finance data quality issue compilation and root cause evaluation in compliance with group Data Quality Issue Management Standards and collaborate with data producers and consumers to support the validation, efficient prioritization and resolution of issues raised
    – Liaise with subject matter experts across CUSO Finance to categorize and link manual reporting adjustments and processes to data quality issues
    – Liaise with the Data Management Office Project teams on behalf of stakeholders to support the implementation and operationalization of the Data Management Framework with respect to the CUSO scope and the adoption of the Group Data Governance platforms and tools
    – Understand the key principles of the Group Operational Risk Framework and the impact and alignment of data quality issues to the requirements of the framework

    Your team

    You’ll be working in the Group Finance Data Office. We are responsible for and charged with oversight of the governance and control of data that Group Finance is reliant upon. We work hand in hand with our Group Finance business and technology partners and collaborate closely with our internal counterparts, Group Risk, Group Operations and the enterprise-wide Data Management Office on data lineage efforts, control analysis, data quality issue management, and other governance related activities.

    Your experience and skills

    You have:
    – Experience with within a financial services setting, preferably within a finance, risk or data management organization
    – Project management and solid organizational skills
    – An ability to develop, foster and leverage professional networks across the firm
    – Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels
    – A university degree in accounting, business or technology field
    – Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
