    ​Data & Doc Specialist

    Overview of business area or project:
    Are you incredibly organized with an eye for detail? Do you enjoy working with data and analyzing complex business processes?

    We are looking for someone like that to:

    – provide account opening and data quality services for the investment bank
    – work closely with various teams across operations, IT, and the front office to meet business, project, and regulatory deliverables
    – Helping to renovate an existing legacy paper mail process and clear the current backlog, so as to ensure proper delivery of client confirmations and statements.
    – monitor the effectiveness of systems, processes, and procedures; make appropriate recommendations for improvement and develop formal proposals for change
    – develop a deep understanding of the firm’s legal entity, product, and account data hierarchy through independent research and knowledge gathering
    – perform quality checks and document review to ensure the completeness and accuracy of data in  systems

    You’ll be working on the Data & Analytics Service Delivery team in Nashville, TN. We provide operational support in the Americas for institutional client accounts which includes:
    – new client account setup and data maintenance
    – relationship management for stakeholders across various global functions
    – intersystem data reconciliations and exception handling
    – active supervision and support of our offshore processing team

    Business rationale for this role: Requirement to support production related tasks in the account data management space (such as account opening, data quality services, project management, relationship management) as well as assisting with renovation and backlog clearing of an existing legacy returned mail process.

    Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
    – BA/BS with strong academic background
    – 1-2 years of experience in a similar role (or course of study)
    – basic understanding of the financial services industry
    – a passion for data, strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with accuracy
    – a willingness to learn and ability to follow standard operating procedures
    – Microsoft Excel proficiency
    – knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (eg. Business Objects), databases (SQL/VBA), or programming is a plus but not required
