Title: Change Release Control
The consultant will support change & release management operations, mass migration activities, activation, Go-Live implementation efforts for large EMR enterprise implementations at a multi-healthcare network enterprise in New York City, including the Main Technical Command Center and the On-Site Satellite/Dispatch Command Center. In addition, they will:
Support and assist Development and Infrastructure Services subject matter experts in the planning, coordination and processing of software releases and changes to IT infrastructure components.
Support mass migration operations and overall book of work for all required activities
Participate and support change and release management activities, and Pre-Live / Go-Live initiatives and meetings and provide status updates as required.
Manage scope, strategies, and risks and issues related to go-live implementation and escalate to stakeholders as appropriate.
Track progress across multiple efforts and report status internally to all associated teams.
Document requirements in the environment in order to build out change operations activities and provide pre-live/ go-live support

4. Qualifications / Required Skill:
Experience with all aspects of go-live implementation activities, mass migration, activation planning within a healthcare environment, preferably in a large, multi-hospital organization
Understanding of the EMR suite of applications and can manage pre-live/go-live “elbow” support.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of healthcare services, HIT, regulatory requirements and clinical data management
Exposure and or experience in project management, agile methodologies with a focus on implementations in a clinical environment or large scale distributed systems deployments
Experience implementing and managing HIS systems
Exposure to all phases of a EMR system implementation (planning, design, build, test, change mgmt. deploy, support), and track record of successfully managing complex implementations
In-depth knowledge and understanding of healthcare services, HIT, regulatory requirements and clinical data management in New York State
ITIL certification (preferable)
