Title: Business Process Analyst
Job Title: Business Process Analyst, Risk Management Operations
Duties: Risk Management Operations team works closely with functional risk management, Independence leadership, US leadership, and other operational/functional groups to understand and prioritize business process improvement opportunities to ensure proper controls are in place to mitigate risks that can potentially be managed through applications and systems. We work with Global & US IT teams, as well as outside vendors, to ensure quality implementation of changes, execution of change management strategies (i.e. communications, training and documentation) and closely monitor any development projects or initiatives to ensure proper adoption and usage.
Responsibilities:
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a deep understanding of a business process and/or product/application, ensuring business knowledge continuity with a view into integration across product portfolios
Define and author Business Requirements with the business and scope functionality for delivery based on business priorities, with an understanding and consideration of systems and data interdependencies.
Prioritize and validate the requirements backlog for future development throughout project lifecycle from business requirements gathering, development, quality assurance and UAT; clearly articulating requirements to development teams.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Risk Management/Independence senior leaders & stakeholders to understand business objectives and facilitate strategic process redesign sessions
Develop business justification documents that focus on capturing the current state processes to ensure an optimized future state is achieved with innovative process and tools, addressing current pain points and gaps.
Ownership of requirements management, release management and traceability of proposed functional and design requirements to business requirements, ensuring critical business needs are met
Provide frequent demos to the product/ application users, evaluate the quality of the product/ functionality being delivered, manage User Acceptance testing, triage and prioritize user feedback during UATs and take ownership of Change management requirements including any documentation, i.e., training guides, quick reference guides FAQs etc.
Skills: Skills/Experience:
Minimum 10-15 years business analysis experience Data Analytics and Data Warehouse experience a plus Strong organizational, quantitative and analytical, writing and communication skills a must Ability to work with various levels of management Ability to work independently and as part of a team
