Title: Asset Management/PMO
We are looking for an Asset Management specialist program manager to develop framework and processes to effectively govern and communicate the overall scope of work, drivers, benefits, status etc. to a wide array of asset management functions and executives.
To be effective in the role, the individual will be expected to interact with several business functions such as investments, products, distribution, compliance, operations and technology in communicating the AM CDO strategy and mandate.
Following are few of the key objectives for this role:
Define a service catalogue for AM CDO – reference data management services, data governance services, data control services, data integration services, advanced analytics services by function such as research etc.
Define engagement model and framework for functions to submit requests to AM CDO
Develop an understanding of on-going projects, business drivers and execution approach
Partner with AM CDO program managers and IT program managers to create a comprehensive Data and Analytics Program Framework
Develop the required template and processes for different projects to follow the framework and provide regular updates through effective tooling.
Guide the current program and project managers on required reports to capture status, issues, budgets and resource allocations
Coordinate meetings with different functional representatives or leads to communicate AM CDO strategy, engagement framework and overview of current book of work
Partner with Data IT team to develop high level target state AM Data Architecture and to align each on-going project with the target state architecture
This is an individual role, which will require strong collaboration with people within CDO and with broader AM organization.
Your experience and skills
Consulting experience in Asset Management strategy, data strategy or analytics strategy
At least 12 years of experience in Asset Management
Proven knowledge of asset management business, functions and data
Candidates with only IT program management should not apply
Excellent communication skills, presentation skills and interpersonal skills to deliver the message based on the audience
Bachelor’s degree, MBA a plus
Minimum 10 years of experience in managing complex programs, ideally within global financial services institutes in data and analytics space
Proven experience working with senior executives, engineers and operations in governing demand and execution planning
Strong emphasis on bringing structure and templates to create repeatable processes and transparency in the life-cycle of programs
Proven ability to multi-task in an extremely fast-paced environment and to work effectively in a matrix organization
