    The ideal candidate will have background in development and/or work with Trustees, donors, and volunteers, or related fields like human resources or customer service. She/he will provide overall support to the Chief Development Officer including responsibility for scheduling and organizing logistics for meetings, taking meeting notes or minutes, and interfacing with Trustees, committee members, and donors.

    Other primary responsibilities include managing the department’s thanking & acknowledgement process by producing letters and receipts, as well as managing basic donor data in Raiser’s Edge. The ideal candidate has strong writing and communication skills, amazing time management and organizational skills, and experience with databases and other systems.


    Managing the schedule and implementation of all Board and Committee meetings, including (but not limited to): scheduling with multiple stakeholders & venues, organizing catering & hospitality, managing/creating/organizing materials and presentation components, reminders & attendance, minutes.
    Producing acknowledgement media (letters and receipts) primarily from templates.
    Extensive writing for Chief Development Officer: correspondence, memos, and speeches.
    Liaise with senior staff, particularly around management of Board and Committee meetings.
    Communicate with, and handle issues involving, agency Trustees and donors.
    Calendar management, process expenses and appointment setting
    Plan and coordinate visits to agency programs.  ​

    Able to multi-task and easily transition between different tasks and assignments
    Understands basic development office functions and operations
    Team player and excellent collaborative skills

    Bachelor’s degree, strong computer skills
    Minimum of two years of work experience
    Strong experience with MS Word, Excel & Outlook
    Experience with Raisers Edge or similar database a plus
    Able to work evenings and weekends on a limited basis to fulfill job responsibilities.
