The DSL team is looking for a Project Manager to lead the Loans project. The Project Manager is responsible for the following activities: Ensure delivery of agreed functions and features across all participating business and technology teams: o Build out project plan for prioritized deliveries and work with PMO to track and monitor the plan o Scope and estimate future work items with support from appropriate SMEs o Work with PMO to ensure issues and risks are identified and communicated o Facilitate meeting with business and IT partners and other stakeholders o Provide status reporting and other required project reporting, with support from the PMO o Collaborate with partnering teams to execute all stages of SDLC, remediate issues and risks, and ensure client satisfaction Data providers (e.g. Loan Tech, CRD, SRD, FRD, Risk Vision, GBT) Data consumers (e.g. Regulus, Risk Vision, IceView, GPC) Production Management team for on-going production support o Prepare presentations for stakeholders and senior management Understand the business & data requirements, as well as the system implementation supporting these requirements. Serve as a subject matter expert for the wider IT team. Be able to assess impact of new/changed requirements, to assist the business with evolution of their business process, and to answer questions about use of the system and behavior of the data. Activities related to business and data requirements include: Articulate features and issues in functional/business terms to business users Articulate features and issues in technical terms with participating technology teams Review business and data requirements for clarity and feasibility Help development teams translate requirements to design Conduct data analysis using SQL or Excel extracts to assess impact of changes, to help identify root cause of defects, and to answer questions raised by business users and other stakeholders. Propose approaches to resolve issues and defects Facilitate evolution of the Finance Strategic Architecture by working with key IT partners in DSL, other participating teams and Pioneer Central team. Understand the target architecture and work with participating teams to develop roadmap to evolve the platform to the target architecture. Work with SME?s to ensure Loans project aligns to key Firm and Finance Tech strategies including Data Dictionary, Data Governance, Reporting, UI Convergence, Control Framework, Data Modeling Facilitate delivery by the DSL development team in Finance Tech Work with the dev leads and pmo to ensure all work items are prioritized Monitor the team?s work queue to identify/address any issues in resource allocation, planning, etc Participate in daily SCRUM as necessary Provide technical architecture and functional guidance to the development team Review designs Provide guidance to the QA team Bridge business issues with technical implementation/solution Deliver artifacts aligned to the Business Aligned Action Team strategy Engage multiple stakeholders to understand issues/concerns up and down the Lopns processing value chain Work with PMO and other SMEs to develop BAAT artifacts such as prioritized list of pain points, remediation options and to propose future projects Qualifications Qualifications: 8-10 years of experience in capital markets technology projects, for transaction processing, bookkeeping or financial reporting. Experience in Corporate Loans or other Loan product is strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of Finance process and functions such as bookkeeping, P&L Reporting or Regulatory reporting Self-Motivated Strong communication and interpersonal skills Strong documentation and presentation skills including MS Office and Visio Strong influencing skills Project Management skills Team oriented and can work well within a global collaborative model Working knowledge of ETL concepts, reporting concepts, unix concepts, SQL (DB2). Prior hands-on application development or dev management experience is a plus.
